A unique absence monitoring system will be launched by a leading employment law consultancy at this year’s HR Show.
Employment Law Advisory Services (ELAS) will launch software package Absencesafe which uses advanced programmes to focus specifically on absenteeism issues providing HR managers with an intuitive dashboard style system to keep track of employee attendance.
The clear interface provides visual prompts alerting them to current and future issues and the ability to track patterns of absenteeism.
Combined with flexible reporting, this means that Absencesafe is an excellent way to start taking control of a problem that affects nearly every business in the country.
Absencesafe is the next stage of continuing development from ELAS who have enjoyed huge success with their more general HR software.
Research carried out by ELAS last year calculated that the Friday Feeling, where employees routinely skip work on Friday afternoon, was costing UK business £50million a year.
The software package will be showcased at the HR Show in Manchester on April 29 and 30 at the ELAS stand, allowing interested businesses and managers the chance to try out the software on a trial basis for 90 days. Experienced staff will be on hand to guide people through the system and how it works.
Annabel Dawkins, head of marketing, said: “The HR Show is a fantastic opportunity for people to try out the new Absencesafe software and get a hands-on feeling for the product. It is also a great opportunity for us to get direct feedback from HR personnel on the product.”
